Chris Gallo, Founder & Principal

Chris brings 15+ years of commercial leadership in agricultural inputs, including roles as VP of Strategy & Innovation at Deerpoint Group LLC, VP of Sales & Marketing at Yara North America and California Precision Ag Manager at Simplot Grower Solutions. He has direct experience leading a company through a successful private equity transaction, having guided Deerpoint Group through its sale.

Based in Madera, CA, Chris built Gallo Ag Consulting, LLC around a simple idea: California’s specialty crop growers, ag retailers, and the companies that serve them deserve senior commercial expertise, without needing to make a full-time executive hire to get it.

Our Focus

We work primarily in California specialty crops: almonds, pistachios, tomatoes, grapes, citrus, strawberries, and avocados. This is a deliberate choice. It’s where our direct experience lives, and it’s a different world from grain and row-crop agriculture. Different economics, different buyers, different grower seasons and risk profiles.
